MONORAIL PROJECT

BAHR EL BAQAR WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT
The Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering Authority has awarded Arab Contractors and Orascom Construction the responsibility of building the Bahr El Baqar wastewater treatment plant, a locality located near Port-Said in northeast Egypt_ The signing of this $739 million contract took place in the presence of Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Co-operation.

DURRAT AL KARZ PROJECT

CENTRAL BANK PROJECT
Green Concrete Company built what Egypt plans to move the headquarters of its central bank to the new administrative capital. Located 45km (28 miles) east of Cairo, the new capital is part of the Egyptian government’s plan to expand urban areas to deal with the state’s rapid population growth and improve the nation’s infrastructure. The new city is slated to be larger than Singapore and will eventually be home to 6.5 million people.

NEW PRESIDENTIAL PALACE PROJECT
The new presidential palace in the new admin capital residence area alone is estimated at 50,000 square meters, which is 10 times larger than the area of the White House, which has an area of only 5,000 square meters. As for the general area of the palace site, which is surrounded by an external wall, it is estimated at 2.3 million square meters, and the video showed the presence of an external space designed to be a sanctuary for the main entrance to the palace, and it alone is only 180,000 square meters. Thus, the total area is more than 2.5 million square meters.

NEW ADMIN CAPITAL CITY PROJECT
The major reason for the new capital city is to relieve congestion in Cairo, which is already one of the world's most crowded cities, and it is growing rapidly. Greater Cairo's population is set to grow from 18 million people to 40 million people by 2050. It will help to strengthen and diversify the country's economic potential by creating new places to live, work and visit. In order to draw people to this new capital city, a series of key catalyst developments will be established at its core. This will include a new government administrative district, a cultural district and a wide variety of urban neighborhoods.

NATIONAL BANK OF KUWAIT PROJECT
The National Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (NBK Egypt) has signed a deal with Gama Construction for a new branch in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
The branch will be built by Gama and will be in the new capital’s Central Business District (CBD) at a built-up space of around 65,349 square meters, according to a statement by Gama.

CENTRAL PARK PROJECT
Egyptian Housing Minister Assem al-Jazzar is overseeing the construction of Cairo Capital Central Park, one of the world’s largest parks, located within the Capital Park corridor of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. Also the Green River, representing Cairo’s Nile River, will flow through all sections of Capital Park. Each sector of Capital Park will include residential and commercial districts. An integrated network of pedestrian and bicycle paths will allow Egyptians of all abilities to enjoy the parks.

MIVIDA PROJECT
The project is located in a word-class integrated community, completed with pine forests and lavender gardens that open to playgrounds, community centers and a 33-acre park.

Egypt’s new power grid control Centre, which will be located in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), will deploy advanced software and equipment to monitor, manage and control extra-high voltage (220 kV and 500 kV) transmission networks. It will also power generation stations across the country.
The Centre will include the tools needed for future grid expansion, and for maintaining a secured energy supply, including from renewable sources and storage.
The New National Energy Control Center and New Backup Energy Control Center will run on Siemens Spectrum Power 7, the company’s flagship control Centre platform for transmission management in energy networks of any size.
